Monday, Sept. 1

10:02 a.m. — Report of malicious destruction of flowers on Franklin Street. Caller had some dahlias cut from her garden that she had planned to enter into the fair competition. The same incident happened two years ago. Garden is next to the sidewalk. No cameras available. Incident documented.

1:01 p.m. — Caller on Solar Way would like to speak with an officer about someone test driving his vehicle. Officer spoke to the caller, who is selling his Jeep and wanted suggestions on information to get in the event that someone test drives the Jeep in case they steal it. Officer suggested taking a picture of the person’s license and the license plate of any vehicle they arrive in.

4:06 p.m. — Reporting party would like to speak to an officer regarding a woman she saw not buckle her kids correctly on Main Street. Female driver with kids standing up in the car seats and not strapped in. Officers to check for car and well-being of kids.

Tuesday, Sept. 2

12:45 p.m. — Report of a trespassing individual at the John W. Olver Transit Center on Olive Street. Lorie Ann Clarke, 45, of School Street in Greenfield, was arrested on a charge of trespassing.

3:42 p.m. — Megan Mae O’Loughlin, 28, of Conway Street in Greenfield, was arrested on Conway Street on a warrant as well as a charge of resisting arrest.

7:15 p.m. — Derek Mathew Billings, 28, homeless of Greenfield, was arrested on Federal Street on a fugitive from justice warrant. Officers spoke with the St. Johnsbury Police Department, confirmed extradition.

Wednesday, Sept. 3

11:29 a.m. — Tracy M. Carter, 62, of Juniper Court in Greenfield, was arrested on Juniper Court on a warrant.

1:50 p.m. — Caller on Colrain Road reports being scammed out of $5,800. Caller reported receiving an email that his Apple Pay account had been hacked, so he called the number provided and transferred his Bitcoin account funds to a new Apple Wallet they provided. Caller will come to the station to fill out a written statement.

7:38 p.m. — Following a traffic stop on Deerfield Street, Lillie Brown, 64, of Fourth Street in Turners Falls, was arrested on a warrant.

Thursday, Sept. 4

3:55 a.m. — Following a traffic stop at the French King Highway and Route 2, Shelby Blattner, 32, of Pittsfield, was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, unregistered motor vehicle, uninsured motor vehicle, no inspection/sticker, motor vehicle lights violation and failure to stop/yield.

8:00 a.m. — A man with a hammer down by the river reportedly swung at another party, who knocked the hammer out of the man’s hand before going to the pavilion at Green River Park and asking someone to call 911. Did not get hit, does not need an ambulance.

8:11 a.m. — Anthony Wade Ruehle, 50, of Petty Plain Road in Greenfield, was arrested on charges of assault with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery, vandalizing property and larceny under $1,200.

4:31 p.m. — Report of a threat being made at CVS Pharmacy on Federal Street. Reporting party states that 30 minutes ago, a male party came in and threatened to attack staff. Spoke with staff, unable to identify. Advised to call back if the man returns.

Friday, Sept. 5

1:03 p.m. — Caller reports injured raccoons at Conway and Alden streets. Animal control officer advised.

3:41p.m. — Reporting party from Wildwood Avenue reports her neighbor’s chickens are in her yard again. Animal control officer notified.

11:00 p.m. — Sarah Bertucco, 20, of Church Street in Greenfield, was arrested on Church Street on a fugitive from justice warrant.

Saturday, Sept. 6

12:19 p.m. — Report of a city ordinance violation at Rite Aid on Main Street. William Brannigan, 66, of Arch Place in Greenfield, was arrested on a charge of having an open container/drinking alcohol in public.

4:53 p.m. — Alexis Paige Williamson, 26, of Chapman Court in Greenfield, was arrested on Chapman Court on a warrant.

Sunday, Sept. 7

2:56 a.m. — Ralph A. Provost, 67, of Elm Terrace in Greenfield, was arrested on two warrants, as well as a charge of driving at a rate of speed exceeding the posted limit, following a traffic stop on Main Street.

5:35 p.m. — Reporting party on the Mohawk Trail would like to speak with an officer about a male party on an electric bike tailgating him and flipping him off. Party is frustrated with e-bikes in general, wanted to vent about them being all over the road and not obeying traffic laws. Caller was advised that police are aware of the issue and attempt to enforce the rules of the road to e-bike riders as well.

10:30 p.m. — Jamie Lee Anadon, 40, of Water Street in Greenfield, was arrested on Deerfield Street on a warrant.
