SHELBURNE — The annual town election, scheduled May 20 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Memorial Hall, is uncontested this year, with one question on the ballot.

The ballot question is to change the town tax collector from an elected to an appointed position. 

Robert Manners is running for re-election as a Selectboard member with a three-year term. 

James Richardson is running for re-election as town assessor with a three year term. Richardson is also running for re-election as tree warden with a one-year term. 

Joe Judd is running for re-election as town clerk with a one-year term. 

Sylvia Smith is running for re-election as moderator with a one-year term. 

Judith Kulp and Launie York are running for re-election as Shelburne Free Public Library Trustees with a three-year term. 

Norman Beebe is running for re-election as a Recreation Committee member with a five-year term. 

Bradley Walker is running for the Mohawk Trail Regional School Committee with a three-year term. Walker was appointed to the committee this year after a position became vacant. 

James Stacy is running for town constable with a one-year term. 

Laura Manners is running for town constable with a three-year term.
