WHATELY — There will be no contested races on the ballot for Whately voters in the town election this year.

The election will be held Tuesday, April 28, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Town Hall, 194 Chestnut Plain Road.

The following names and offices will appear on the ballot:

  • Selectboard, three-year term — no ballot candidate (can be won by a write-in vote).
  • Whately Elementary School Committee, two-year term — David Theoharides, incumbent.
  • Whately Elementary School Committee, three-year term — no ballot candidate (can be won by a write-in vote).
  • Assessor, three-year term — Michael Husted, incumbent.
  • Board of Health, three-year term — Rebecca Jones, incumbent.
  • Library trustees, two seats with three-year terms — Debra Carney and George Colt, both incumbents.
  • Water commissioner, three-year term — Georgeann Dufault, incumbent.
  • Cemetery commissioner, three-year term — no ballot candidate (can be won by a write-in vote).
  • Town moderator, one-year term — Joyce Palmer-Fortune.
  • Elector Under the Oliver Smith Will, one-year term — Keith Bardwell, incumbent.
