GREENFIELD – Western Mass. Beer Week is coming back to the city and People’s Pint wants to help people celebrate.

The People’s Pint will be holding its second annual Pints in the Park on June 9 at Greenfield Energy Park. The event will feature live music, as well as beer and cider from 10 local breweries and cideries in a family-friendly atmosphere.

“We want to show off all the amazing brewing in Franklin County,” Josh Breitner, general manager for People’s Pint, said.

“We’re getting everyone together to promote our region. It’s also a great way to boost our town,” he added.

The event starts at noon and ends at 6 p.m. A total of 10 breweries and cideries, including People’s Pint, Berkshire Brewing Company, West County Cider, Lefty’s Brewing Company and Brick and Feather Brewery will be featured during the outdoor event. Food from People’s Pint and Bart’s Ice Cream will also be available.

Five bands from western Massachusetts and Vermont will entertain the crowds throughout the day. The bands taking the stage are Home Body, Hevvi Synthia, Kalliope Jones, The Fantastic Partnerz and Reverend Dan and the Dirty Catechism.
