WENDELL — The 56-year-old motorcyclist who was killed in a Friday morning collision on Lockes Village Road has been identified as Orange resident Jeffrey Frasher.
According to the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office, Frasher was pronounced dead at the scene after first responders were dispatched to the area of 318 Lockes Village Road at approximately 6:30 a.m. A preliminary investigation indicates that a collision occurred between the motorcycle and a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and cooperated with police. No charges have been filed, according to the DA’s office.
The crash remains under investigation by the Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit assigned to the DA’s office, the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section, the State Police Crime Scene Services Section, and the Leverett Police Department, which provides policing services in Wendell through an inter-municipal agreement.
