SHELBURNE — A car with Vermont plates rolled over on Brook Road Saturday night, sending one person to Baystate Franklin Medical Center with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries, authorities said.
Driving north, just past the Greenfield town line, a Toyota pickup truck rolled over at around 8:50 p.m. during “dark conditions” on a road that isn’t unfamiliar to accidents, an authority said.
“Brook Road is a wonderful scenic road, a scenic road that is well posted,” Shelburne firefighter and emergency medical technician Julie Page said. “It is always important to watch for animals in a scenic area.”
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
There were no animals immediately apparent that may have been hit to cause the accident.
Greenfield Fire Department also responded. The scene was cleared Saturday night.
