GREENFIELD — Greenfield Savings Bank will offer “Fix It Before You List It,” a seminar that offers financial tips on selling a home to maximize profit and knowledge, on Thursday, Sept. 24, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the bank’s new residential lending offices at the Leavitt-Hovey House, 402 Main St.

The seminar is focused on helping homeowners access financial options to complete needed repairs before listing their properties, thus strengthening buyer appeal as well as the seller’s value. Participants will also learn how to avoid costly mistakes and navigate the financing factors that can impact the sale from contract to closing.

JUSTO SEPULVEDA

Justo Sepulveda and Caryl Connor, mortgage officers at Greenfield Savings Bank who have 22 years and 36 years of mortgage lending experience, respectively, will lead the seminar, offering financial advice as it relates to selling a home. A real estate agent is also expected to take part and will discuss the current real estate market and how to best position one’s home in it.

CARYL CONNOR

For homeowners who are selling as well as buying, Sepulveda and Connor will review Greenfield Savings Bank’s financing options.

“Selling a home involves much more than listing with a real estate agent and putting a sign in the yard,” Greenfield Savings Bank President and CEO Peter Albero said in a statement. “Together, Justo and Caryl can help people make informed decisions about selling, understand their options and move forward with confidence.”
