Northampton, MA – Devin Richard Reade, born April 6, 1980, in Plymouth, died on September 8, 2026, at the young age of 46, after a tragic accident involving his bicycle and a car.
Devin is survived by his siblings Lisa (Reade) McElroy of Wilbraham, Shawn Reade of Michigan, Travis Reade of Shelburne Falls, Scott Reade of Colrain along with their families, including the wife and children of his late brother Derrick Reade. Many Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews will also mourn his loss.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Reade, mother, Judith Maloney and his beloved canine companion, Nancy.
Devin also leaves behind his Manna Community Kitchen family and friends, and many, many others.
Devin’s legacy lives on in the smiles he shared, the trails he explored, and the generosity of spirit he showed everyone he met. He reminded those around him that joy is found in simple moments-a good song, an open path, a friend who cares.
A celebration of Devin’s life is being planned by Scott and his wife for September 26, 2026 at The Eagles, 52 State Street, Shelburne Falls, MA from 11AM – 2PM.
