The Greenfield Recorder continues it offseason recognition with All-Stars for indoor track & field. The selections from this list were largely based off postseason performance and some coach’s input. There will be a list of honorable mentions.

Indoor Track & Field All Stars

Boys

Mason Youmell — Greenfield

Youmell placed first in the 600-meters and the 55-hurdles at the PVIAC Valley Championship for the Green Wave.

Adrien Pazmandy — Frontier

In the 300-meter at the PVIAC Valley Championship, Pazmandy took first overall for the Redhawks. Pazmandy added a fourth-place finish in the 55-meter.

Ryan Spofford — Greenfield

Spofford was one of the premiere distance runners in Franklin County. Spofford took first place at in the 1000-meter at the PVIAC Valley Championship.

Luke Howard — Frontier

Howard swept both the mile and the 2-mile at the PVIAC Valley Championship. At the MIAA Division 5 championships, Howard placed second (9:37.47) in a field of 26 runners in the 2-mile. The run was a personal best for Howard.

Ezra Rich — Frontier

At the PVIAC Valley Championship, Rich’s throw (43-04.75) in the shot put bested the competition by almost four feet. The throw set a program record for the Redhawks.

Carter Berthiaume — Pioneer

The junior made it all the way to New Englands for his high jumping ability. At the PVIAC Valley Championship, Berthiaume jumped six feet, four inches. At New Englands, Berthiaume finished tied for 11th.

Kymel Ramsey — Greenfield

Ramsey took second place in the 55-meter at the PVIAC Valley Championship for the Green Wave. He was consistently near the top of all sprinting events during the PVIAC season.

Tanner Biagini — Mohawk

Biagini ran a personal best at the PVIAC Valley Championship in the 55-meter, finishing fifth. In the 300-meter, Biagini finished third in a field of 18 runners. He was another consistent top finisher in sprinting events during the PVIAC regular season.

Girls

Louise Flagollet — Frontier

Flagollet took first overall in the 300-meter dash at the PVIAC Valley Championship. In the high jump, Flagollet added another PVIAC championship with a jump of five feet, two inches. Her high jumping ability sent her all the way to competition at New Englands. At the MIAA Division 5 championships, Flagollet placed second (5-2) in the high jump.

Stellina Moore – Frontier

The junior is the program record-holder in the high jump and the 55-hurdles for the Senators. At the PVIAC Valley Championship, Moore took second place in the 55-hurdles, the high jump and the long jump.

Harper Hake — Pioneer

As a freshman, Hake set multiple school records in distance events. Hake is now the school record-holder in the 800-meter, the 1000-meter, the mile and the 2-mile.

Virginia Krezmien — Mohawk

Krezmien was the top finisher from Franklin County in the 1000-meter and the mile at the PVIAC Valley Championship. In the 1000-meter and the mile, Krezmien finished in third place.

Emmanuelle Flagollet — Frontier

Flagollet won a PVIAC championship in the 55-hurdles for the Redhawks. She wasn’t done there, however, adding a second-place finish in the long jump. Flagollet was a consistent top finisher during the PVIAC regular season in both events.

Madilyn Moore — Mahar

Moore was the top thrower in Franklin County at the PVIAC Valley Championship, finishing second overall in the shot put for the Senators. The throw (27-2) was a season best for Moore.
