Warwick Free Public Library welcomes historical interpreter for Revolutionary War program
WARWICK — The Warwick Free Public Library will host Thomas Quirk, a historical interpreter based in central Massachusetts, on Sunday, April 26, at 1 p.m. for a free Revolutionary War program that is suitable for both children and adults.
Quirk will provide an interactive experience with period clothing, goods, weapons, tools and instruments, including a fife and drum demo.
When he was 7 years old, Quirk attended a reenactment of the Boston Massacre and was immediately bitten by the 18th-century bug. He is a member of the Berkshire Fife & Drum Corps and Grand Republic Fife and Drum Corps, and is also a marching instructor.
Parking is available in front of the library, located at 4 Hotel Road, and across the street at Town Hall.
