In a showdown for first place, the Frontier Juniors football team rose to the occasion Saturday, shutting out a tough and well-coached Easthampton squad, 16–0.
Frontier’s balanced offense found the end zone with scores from Jack Carney, Lane Kicza, Johnny Stanisewski, and Ryan Washburn. The Red Hawks executed well in key moments, capitalizing on field position and sustained drives.
The offensive line set the tone, led by strong blocking from Logan Ellis and Lew Graves, who helped open lanes and protect the backfield throughout the game.
On the defensive side, Frontier was relentless. Kyrie Petrizzi-Richmond and Barrett Kicza led the charge, keeping Easthampton’s offense bottled up and off the scoreboard. Tyson Serpone and Phin Friz added key plays on both special teams and defense, helping preserve the shutout.
It was a hard-fought win against one of the league’s top programs, and the Red Hawks played with heart. The victory keeps Frontier alone atop the standings as they continue their impressive season.
