BERNARDSTON — The Bernardston Senior Center started serving in-person lunches again on Tuesday for the first time since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The first sit-down meal consisted of beef stew, followed by stuffed chicken on Wednesday. Chicken and rice will be served on Thursday.

Lunch will be served at 11:45 a.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, according to a Senior Center newsletter. To-go meals will be available on Mondays and Fridays at 11 a.m.

Senior Center Director Jennifer Reynolds said anyone with disabilities or who is over age 60 is eligible to receive meals, which are provided by LifePath. Those looking to attend are asked to call ahead to the Senior Center at 413-648-5319.
