The Garden Cinemas is partnering with the nonprofit Cinema Foundation to help moviegoers celebrate National Cinema Day with discounted admission on Saturday, Sept. 3.
National Cinema Day celebrates a summer of record-breaking movie-going with movies and a sneak peek of upcoming titles. The Garden Cinemas will participate in the one-day event, bringing together audiences of all ages to enjoy a day at the movies with exclusive previews and special in-theater promotions at a discounted admission rate of no more than $3.
To promote the re-release of “Spider-Man: No Way Home (The More Fun Stuff Version),” Spiderman will be in attendance, handing out free posters to patrons during matinees. Disc jockey Robert “Bobby C” Campbell will play the fan-favorite movie theme songs from 11:45 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. During evening shows, free hats and shirts will be available while supplies last.
At 2 p.m., the Garden Cinemas’ owners and partners will hold a press conference to discuss the importance of the cinema industry and reveal several initiatives coming to the theater, including the plan of events for Cinema Week from Oct. 7 to Oct. 13.
