5:50 p.m. — Caller from King Avenue reports someone “murdered” her bushes. Police arrested a male over the age of 17.
9:08 p.m. — Caller from 42 Prospect St. reports he was just robbed and threatened. Caller was brought in to fill out a statement form and officers went on the lookout for involved youths. Police spoke with the suspect in front of his parents. The son was Mirandized and started speaking, but then decided to stop talking without a lawyer.
8:34 a.m. — Caller from Avenue A reports a man in a bathrobe running in and out of traffic.
8:24 p.m. — Caller from Greenfield Road reports someone trying to break into his house, adding that the individual was caught on camera before he took off into the woods. Caller said the incident occurred around an hour prior.
4:04 p.m. — Caller from a campsite on North Street in Whately reports a man getting into her vehicle and pulling a knife. The call was transferred to Shelburne Control.
6:10 p.m. — Caller from an apartment on Avenue A reports a disturbance, seeks a restraining order. An on-call judge granted it. Caller then called back to advise the involved woman was inside the building in her mother’s apartment. Police advised the woman was served paperwork in hand after she attempted to run away.
5:25 p.m. — Caller from the bike path near the bridge on Greenfield Road reports a fallen tree hanging over where people walk. A message was left for the Department of Public Works.
9:43 p.m. — Officer advises he attempted to stop a vehicle on Federal Street and the driver fled, traveling Route 47 before crossing over to Route 63. Police went on the lookout in areas the vehicle was known to frequent. Police later advised there was evidence that a vehicle went off the road.
2:47 p.m. — Caller reports a Republic Services truck struck the bridge on North Leverett Road, causing the dumpster to fall into the road. The Department of Public Works hauled the container away and reopened the road.
