ERVING — The town election went as anticipated on Monday, with all candidates winning seats in uncontested races.

Twenty-eight of the town’s 1,258 registered voters showed up to the polls, making for a 2.23% turnout. Town Clerk Richard Newton said the low turnout could likely be attributed to a lack of contested races and lingering COVID-19 concerns.

The results of the election are as follows:

■Scott M. Bastarache, Selectboard (three-year term), with 27 votes.

■Mark D. Burnett, Board of Assessors (three-year term), with 25 votes.
