GREENFIELD — Second Helpings, a free weekly meals program co-sponsored by Deerfield Academy and the Episcopal Church of Saints James and Andrew, will offer in-person meals in the church’s Parish Hall at 8 Church St. starting May 2 for the first time in two years.
According to a notice from the Rev. Heather Blais, rector at the Episcopal Church of Saints James and Andrew, indoor meals in the Parish Hall will start at 4:30 p.m. The hall is open from 4:15 to 5:15 for dining. To-go meals will be distributed from the parking lot windows starting at 5 p.m.
“We encourage folks to wear masks indoors except when eating,” Blais noted. “There will be no more than four people per table, and the tables will be farther apart than before. … We will continue to do our best to provide multiple to-go meals to everyone, but at times we may need to limit the number per person.”
