The Greenfield Recorder has been sorting through its extensive photo archives. Timed with coverage of the Greenfield Center School finishing work on its new building on Bernardston Road, here is a collection of historic photos that take us back to 1988 and 1989, when the Center School was renovating the former Abercrombie School on Montague City Road. Above, through many local businesses donating their time and material, the addition gets underway in April 1989.
