SHELBURNE — Town Clerk Joe Judd is reminding dog owners to make sure their dogs have updated rabies vaccines and up-to-date dog licenses for 2020.
If your dog licenses reads 2019, the license expired as of March 31, 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Judd is granting extensions to those who have not yet renewed their dog licenses.
No future actions will be taken for delinquent dog owners if you call the Town Clerk’s Office during May to set up arrangements to license your dog, according to Judd. He can be reached at 413-625-0300, ext. 3 or townclerk@townofshelburnema.gov.
SHELBURNE — In an effort to hold a safer election, Town Clerk Joe Judd is urging all registered voters interested in voting in this year’s town election to vote early.
A letter from the Town Clerk’s Office will soon be sent to all Shelburne homes, that have registered voters, with information and instructions. On the back of the letter will be an actual early voting application that can be used to request an early voting ballot, according to Judd.
The applications can be returned by mail to Town Clerk/Town of Shelburne, 51 Bridge St., Shelburne, MA 01370 or by email to townclerk@townofshelburnema.gov. Applications can also be put in the dropbox outside the door at Town Hall.
Once your application has been received, early voting ballots, with instructions, will start being sent by mail on or around the last week of May, according to Judd. All ballots must be returned by mail or placed in the Town Hall dropbox by the close of elections on June 23. Ballots should not be returned by email.
With questions, Judd can be reached at 413-625-0300, ext. 3 or townclerk@townofshelburnema.gov.
