LEVERETT — The Leverett Board of Health reported Friday night that while 11 total residents among eight households have been infected with COVID-19, eight have recovered and are symptom-free, and three remain symptomatic and in isolation.
The board announced the numbers in a post on its Facebook page, but noted that only three patients have in fact received COVID-19 tests, with two coming back positive and one negative.
According to the post, the infected residents have ranged from being in their late teens to their late 60s, with younger individuals experiencing more mild or moderate symptoms while older patients have been more seriously affected. One was hospitalized.
All households involved have notified the Board of Health, the post states, and they are being monitored.
