GREENFIELD — Local political activists will have a chance to work with the campaign for presidential candidate Bernie Sanders as part of a canvassing event on Sunday.
The event will be held at the Franklin County Continuing the Political Revolution office at 345 Main St. in Greenfield, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
“Anyone who wants to help the Sanders campaign should bring a fully charged cell-phone and comfortable walking shoes,” Greenfield resident Zak Hecht said in a press release for the event. “Simple training will be provided, so no prior experience knocking on doors is required.”
