GREENFIELD — Mayor Roxann Wedegartner has declared parking is now free on Saturdays throughout the city.
Residents and visitors should continue to pay for parking Monday through Friday, and are encouraged to use the Passport Parking app on streets and lots. Parking is enforced Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
According to a press release from the mayor’s office, “The new administration will work with key city stakeholders as well as the volunteer Parking and Traffic Commission on several other upgrades and changes to the way the city handles parking, and will roll these changes out throughout the year.”
