In response to Shirley Hill’s letter of Dec. 17, I’m sure the “Keeping Christ in Christmas” folks are very familiar with Matthew 25: 43-45, because they actually put their faith into action. Although they had nothing to do with banning the homeless from the Greenfield common, members of this group have been instrumental in opening a warming center at the Salvation Army. They have also worked with the Interfaith Council and the Greenfield Affordable Housing Project to increase the future housing options for the homeless. I’m grateful for their generous volunteer efforts.
