Jessie L. Freme, 42, of High Street, Greenfield. Charges of a marked lanes violation and OUI-liquor over .08 percent, by Greenfield Police. Released on personal recognizance. Pretrial conference set for Oct. 6. The counsel fee was waived.

Tyler F. Smith, 23, of North Caldwell Road, Northfield. Charge of assault and battery on a family/household member, by Northfield Police. Posted $300 bail. Must stay 100 yards away from and have no contact with the victim. Pretrial conference set for Sept. 24. The counsel fee of $150 must be paid.

Donna M. Moniarty, 40, of Gibbs Court, Orange. Charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, in Greenfield by State Police from the Shelburne barracks. Court cost of $50 was dismissed upon the request of the commonwealth.

Douglas Dawson, 25, of Turners Falls Road, Montague. Charge of assault and battery on a family/household member, by Montague Police. Must not possess dangerous weapons, stay 100 yards away from and have no contact with the victim, and stay away from a specified Turners Falls Road address. Pretrial conference set for Oct. 25.

Vanessa J. Garcia, 29, of Burgess Road, Bennington, Vt. Charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, in Greenfield by State Police from the Shelburne barracks. Released on personal recognizance. Pretrial conference set for Oct. 25.

Francis Barone, 38, of Binney Brook Road, Wilmington, Vt. Charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, in Greenfield by State Police from the Shelburne barracks. Jaxon H. Hadfield, 20, of Huckle Hill Road, Bernardston. Charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, by Gill Police. Court cost of $50 was dismissed upon the request of the commonwealth.

David Chapin, 40, of Silvers Mills Road, Sangerville, Maine. Charges of strangulation or suffocation, two offenses, assault and battery on a child with injury, intimidation of a witness/juror/police/court official, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, by Greenfield Police. The defendant will have no unsupervised, direct or indirect, contact with any child under the age of 16, also with other special conditions. Pretrial conference set for Oct. 4. The counsel fee was waived.
