Handschuh was closest to the pin on No. 7 (4 feet, 7 inches), and Charlie McCracken was closest on No. 9 (38-8).
The duos of Zack Little and Don Mailloux, along with Rick and Russ Kimball, had the most points of the week with six.

In A Division action, Ronnie Parker was first in point quota with a +3 on Tuesday in Ashfield.
David Cote shot a 38 (low gross), while Mark Graves shot a 34 (low net).
Mark Grace took closest to the pin for the day’s action, coming within four inches of the cup on hole No. 16.
In B-Division results, Wayne Clark topped the point quota with a +6.5.
Charlie Plesnar and Paul Champigny tied in the low gross category, both shooting a 43.
Wayne Clark shot a 34 to take low net.
Knights of Columbus
Mike Currie shot a plus-7 to give him the top score in the Knights of Columbus League at the Thomas Memorial Golf & Country Club on Tuesday.
Todd Currie took second with a plus-5 while Joe Kapitulik and Brian Browning settled for third with a plus-3.
Browning and Mike Waterman each won closest to the pin, Browning on No. 7 (six feet, 11 inches) and Waterman on No. 9 (20 feet, six inches).
Ray Zukowski won skins on holes No. 2 and 3 and Todd Currie won skins on No. 5.
Timmons League
Walt Sanieski and John Hodgman had the first low gross score of 35 in the Timmons League at the Northfield Country Club on Wednesday.
Jesse Putnam and Scott Powers had the second low gross of 36.
David Snow and Peter Blake had the top low net score of 27 after winning a match of cards against Rick Stempel and Dan Campbell.
Lloyd Grover won closest to the pin on NO. 6 (14 feet, nine inches) and Powers won it on No. 7 (12 feet, one inch).
Sanieski and Rodney Ebbighausen were match medalists with a score of 38, followed closely by Norm LaCoy, Doug Farrick, Brian Cocco and Powers who all shot a 39.
Race to End Child Abuse 5K
Calling all superheroes! Many children can’t run from abuse, we dare you to move, get involved, make an impact, and change your community for the better. The 3rd annual Race to End Child Abuse 5K Run/Walk sponsored by the Children’s Advocacy Center will be Sunday, Sept. 15 at the Franklin County Fairgrounds.
New this year, there will also be a free one-half mile race for kids. Registration and pre-registration pick up opens at 8 a.m. on race day, with the one-half mile race set for an 8:40 a.m. start. The 5K begins at 9 a.m.

Greenfield Rec
The Greenfield Recreation Department is offering youth soccer programs for Grades K-6 this fall. The deadline to register is Friday, Aug. 30. A $5 late fee will be assessed for all late registrations.
Pee wee soccer is for boys and girls grades K-2. This small field 3-vs-3 soccer program introduces passing, dribbling and shooting skills with weekly instruction and scrimmage, taking place Saturdays, Sep. 7 through Oct. 19 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Green River Swimming Area. Players must wear shin guards, sneakers or soccer shoes (no cleats). The fee is $30 for residents, $35 for non-residents.
Travel Soccer Jr. Division is for grades 3-4 and Sr. Division is for grades 5-6. Each division builds on passing, dribbling, and shooting skills. Practices will be held one night a week with games on Saturday. The practice and game schedule will be announced at a later time. It runs on Saturdays, Sep. 7 through Oct. 19. from 9-10:15 a.m. Teams travel to surrounding towns including Montague, Erving, Northfield, Vernon, Gill etc. Players must wear shin guards and mouth guards; cleats are not required. The fee is $45 for residents, $50 for non-residents.
