In a Greenfield Girls Softball League opener, Camelot Carpet Cleaners defeated Pipiones, 23-13, on April 25.

For Camelot, Hailey Sadler reached base five times with two singles and a triple. Sadler touched the plate four times in the victory. Hayden Sadler also had a nice offensive day with two hits and four RBI. Marlee Pratt reached base four times with a triple and three RBI. Izzy Bills won in the circle, with 10 strikeouts. Bills added two hits with three RBI.

For Pipiones, Lyncinia Guillemette knocked in three runs, with Ella Towne adding a hit.

Camelot Carpet Cleaners 14, Gilmore & Farrell 2 — In game two of opening day, Hayden Sadler had a triple and a homer (four RBI) in the win for Camelot. Sadler chalked up 13 strikeouts in the circle, registering the win. Kendall Bernard had a double and three RBI while Aaliyah Dowdy chipped in with a hit and two RBI for Camelot. Clara VanDoren & Riley Vallandingham both scored two runs. For Gilmore, Ayla Doherty and Shaye Tyler both had RBI.

Pipiones 12, Camelot Carpet Cleaners 10 Savannah Thomas won in the circle for Pipiones on April 27. Thomas struck out nine hitters in her outing and added a hit at the plate. Grace Hickey added to the offensive effort with two RBI. For Camelot, Hailey Sadler and Hayden Sadler combined for four hits and five RBI.

Elks Club 0, Perspective Learning 0 In an opening day contest on April 25, Elks Club and Perspective Learning battled to a pitching dominated scoreless tie. Kallie Cadran pitched effectively in the circle for Elks, while Natalie Bellville combined an inning pitched with two hits and two solid innings at catcher for Perspective.  Aniese Williams and Freyjah Sigurdsson each had singles for Elks.  Quinn Phillips had her first career softball hit, while Quinn Russell also added a base knock for Perspective.

Elks Club 3, Perspective Learning 1  Elks Club claimed its first victory of the season in the win over Perspective Learning on April 27. In the circle, Eleanor Jones registered her first strikeout in the win. Willow Bettencourt and Onalee Reynolds both scored runs to aid the victory. For Perspective, Isabella Tottser hit two singles and scored the only run. Lily Beckwith also hit a single and had a nice game behind the plate.

Sandri 3, Franklin First 1 Sandri pulled out a close one against Franklin First on April 28. Briella Ortiz connected on three hits and scored two runs for Sandri. In the circle, Euly Leonard pounded the strike zone all night long for Sandri. Elsie Neipp had three hits, Nora Lunt adding two more for Franklin First. 

Franklin First Credit Union 7, Pristine Orientals 1 Olivia Balsavich and Colette Taylor each had three hits in the win for Franklin First Credit Union on April 27. Kayla Renaud had two hits for Pristine.

Ponytail

Descavich 19, Garden Cinema 11 Lexi Berry had two hits with a double in the win for Descavich on April 27. Grayson Baker and Leah Batiste also added a couple of hits. For Garden Cinema, Savannah Daignault chipped in with a base knock.

Freedom Credit Union 4, Pristine Orientals 3 Freedom Credit Union squeaked past Pristine Orientals on Tuesday night. Hattie Baily went 3-for-4 for Freedom, with Bridget Page (two hits) and Brady Bernard (three hits) adding to the offensive effort. Bernard went 3-for-3 in the game.

For Pristine Orientals, Ivy Liimatainen had four hits with an RBI. Kayla Renaud had two hits and made several defensive outs. Spence Graham also had two hits.

Gilmore & Farrell 12, Camelot Carpet Cleaners 3 — Kamryn Beck pitched a complete game in the win for Gilmore & Farrell on Thursday. Beck struck out 13 hitters and only gave up two hits. Bailey Demo drove in one run and Hallie Williams added an RBI single. For Camelot, Clara VanDoren had a single that scored two runs while Kendall Bernard added an RBI double.

Senior Division

Triton Automotive 13, Gilmore & Farrell 1 Pitching and offense carried Triton Automotive in the win on April 28. Clara Behan and Tianna Valdez both hit home runs. Lindsey Hawkins launched a grand slam for the victors. Charley Deane and Clara Behan combined for an effective night in the circle.

Kamryn Beck a one hit for Gilmore & Farrell. Elise Reardon and Beck both contributed strong pitching. Ayla Doherty caught a pop fly for an out at first base.

Majors

Gilmore & Farrell 10, Smitty’s 5 Tommy Shivone pitched two important innings in relief and went 2-for-3 in the win for Gilmore & Farrell on April 28. Blake Miner, Joe Locke and Alex Gonyer added hits as well. Hunter Wilkins, Everett Turner and Kaydin Snow-Rose had hits for Smitty’s.

Maniattys 6, New Fortune 0 — Brody Shul and Toby Campbell combined for the shutout on the mound in the win for Maniattys on April 28. Emerson Snow, E.J. provost each had a single while Brock Puchalski connected on two doubles.

Anthony Ruggeri, Sean Winslow and Collin Winslow each had a hit for New Fortune.

AAA

Aubuchon Hardware 16, Lundgren Honda 3 Patrick Whittier gave up only one run in four innings for Aubuchon Hardware in the win on April 29. Walker Kingsbury and Mason Lovett who each had three hits and a triple.  Braith Brothers added two hits and finished the last two innings on the mound. Bertie Watson and George Bodzinski had two hits each for Lundgren.

AA

Ginger Cat Sealcoating 10, Baker Financial 9 Ginger Cat Sealcoating edged Baker Financial on April 27. For Ginger Cat, Willard Keane pitched a great inning and had three hits including a triple. Rodney Behan added two hits, and Sully Boutelle hit a home run. For Baker, Jack Merrill had three hits including a triple and Rylan Little a solid inning.

Ruggeri Real Estate 8, Gruber & Tripp Ruggeri Real Estate earned the win over Gruber & Tripp on April 29. Liam Marguet led the way for Ruggeri Real Estate with three hits and also pitched a solid inning. Sam Call added a big triple for Ruggeri.  For Gruber & Tripp, Tristan Earl and Gaven Brazeau each had hits, while Aidan Martin turned in a solid inning on the mound.
