ORANGE — Graverobbers Restoration, 8 West Main St., is holding a Cruise-in Cookout from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
This year’s theme is “No. 3 Dale Earnhardt.” Attendees are encouraged to wear Dale Earnhardt items or memorabilia.
Free food and drinks will be available, and will be held — a portion of funds raised will go toward the War Memorial Fund of Orange.
ORANGE — The Third Thursday Summer Street Fair will be held downtown from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., featuring vendors with food, drinks and crafts, as well as music entertainment.

ORANGE — The Community Church of North Orange & Tully is holding its annual Village Fair on Saturday, Aug. 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Goddard Park.
The fair will feature tables with handmade items, baked goods, toys, fresh produce, “attic treasures,” raffles and other vendors. The Farley String Band — consisting of 11 local musicians playing traditional folk and fiddle music from Ireland and Scotland — will perform from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Lunch will be available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with hot dogs, pulled pork, chicken, baked beans, coleslaw, potato salad, desserts and beverages.
Prior to the fair, breakfast will be served in the church, with breakfast casseroles, cereal, fruit cups, coffee and juice. The yearly 5-kilometer race will also start at 8:30 a.m. The church is at the corner of 48 Main St. and 4 Creamery Hill Road.
WENDELL — The Shadow Twisters band will play on Saturday, Aug. 17, at 9 p.m. at Deja Brew Cafe & Pub, 57 Lockes Village Road.
There is no cover charge, and the local band will play classic rock from the 1960s and 1970s.
ORANGE — The musical group Legacy will give a free Concert On The Porch on Sunday, Aug. 18, at 2 p.m. at the Orange Historical Society, 41 North Main St.
Donations will be accepted to help the Historical Society, and refreshments will be provided.
NEW SALEM — The Swift River Valley Historical Society, 40 Elm St., will host “Birds of Prey,” featuring live birds of prey up close with wildlife rehabilitator Tom Ricardi.
The event runs on Sunday, Aug. 18, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Bring chairs or blankets. If it rains, the event will be held in the Prescott Church.
The event is suitable for all ages and admission is free. Donations to the museum are gladly accepted.
