Muggle Quidditch: Muggle Quidditch brings the Harry Potter series’ most thrilling sport down to earth, where players on foot throw Quaffles, dodge Bludgers and chase down the Golden Snitch. Greenfield Criterium: Back Bay Cycling Club (B2C2) will bring to New England the Greenfield Criterium on July 14 at 9 a.m. in downtown Greenfield. Learn to Play Golf: Learn the basic fundamentals, including course etiquette, stance, swing and putting. Clubs are available or you can bring your own. Thursday, July 18. Movie in the Park: “The Kid Who Would be King” will be shown July 19 at 9 p.m. at the Green River Swimming Area. Enjoy a film outdoors on the big screen with family and friends. Swimming Lessons: The Greenfield Recreation Swim program is designed to help swimmers at every level. All lessons are at the Green River Swimming Area. Session 1: July 8 to 11. Session 2: July 15 to 18. Sessions are Monday through Thursday. Level 4, 10 to 10:30 a.m. Level 3, 10:35 to 11:05 a.m. Level 2, 11 to 11:40 a.m. Level 1, 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Wave Runners, 12:20 to 12:15 p.m. Call or visit the website for more information about swim levels and age groups. $25 per person, per session. Friday is make-up day as needed. The registration deadline is July 8; $5 late fee.
