Frisco, TX – Patrick William Philip, aged 30, of Frisco, TX, passed away September 29, 2026. He was born to Caroline Amy (Winer) Philip on November 13, 1995, in Rockville, MD.
Patrick had a warm heart, a generous spirit and the ability to make anyone laugh. His love of music brought him to many concerts, and he shared his experiences in articles published online. An adventurous eater with an appreciation for international cuisine, Patrick’s ability to eat the spiciest of foods was always a point of pride. Patrick loved riding his skateboard and playing retro video games.
Patrick will be remembered for his love of running (he finished the 2017 Dallas Marathon with no formal training), his love of fishing, and his incredible voice acting abilities. He loved making someone’s day with his AI imitation, cartoon character impressions or convincing someone that he was from Australia before switching to a Swedish accent.
Patrick lived in Maryland, Florida, Massachusetts and Texas. He graduated from Liberty High School in Frisco, TX in 2013. He loved to travel and bravely overcame his fear of flying to visit his twin brother, Tim, in Norway.
Patrick was a friend to all, and proud cat-dad to Gary. Patrick adopted Gary as a kitten and nursed him through illness. The duo had a special bond and were inseparable. Patrick fondly remembered his childhood dogs, Phoebe and Chloe, and spoke of them often.
Patrick was a loving son, a cherished brother and a beloved friend and colleague. His absence will be felt by all who knew him.
Patrick is survived by his mother, Caroline Philip, his siblings: twin brother Timothy Philip and wife Nataliya; Jessica Cheely and husband Warren; Laura Philip and husband Shayan Sanyal; Ben Philip and wife Gloria; and his nieces and nephew. Patrick is preceded in death by his loving grandparents Augusta (Levy) Winer and Burton Winer, of Greenfield, MA.
A celebration of Patrick’s life will be held at the Waterford Point Amenity Center (7950 Castlebridge, The Colony, TX 75056) on Saturday November 7, 2026 at 4pm. We invite you to join the family in remembering Patrick.
