Greenfield, May 23

10:55 a.m. — Report of a dispute the previous night between 6:50 and 7:10 p.m. at Greenfield Gardens Apartments, 58 Pray Drive. The incident started when a woman recorded a vehicle playing loud music, she said as proof for management. A tall man in his 20s pounded on her door, threatening to “mess her up” if she was recording. The woman reported this to management and requested a restraining order out of concern for her safety.

12:03 p.m. — A vehicle was rear-ended in the drive-thru at Wendy’s, 138 Federal St. There were no injuries.

1:50 p.m. — A witness reported a vehicle driving erratically at 24 Chestnut Hill, saying she was almost struck by the vehicle. The witness confronted the female driver who said she “had something done to her eyes.” The driver could not be located at her listed or last-known address.

3:57 p.m. — Report of an accident involving three or more cars near Turners Falls Road. Greenfield Fire, Police and Emergency Services responded. One party was sent to hospital.

5:35 p.m. — Report of a call from someone claiming to be with Medicare. Party gave the caller her information before realizing this was probably a scam. She has since contacted Medicare and her insurance company.

11:42 p.m. — Hawks & Reed Performing Arts Center received a noise complaint. The peace was reportedly restored.

Montague, May 23

7:08 p.m. — Report of drug activity at Unity Park. Two vehicles, a silver Toyota Celica and a silver Honda Civic with “very tinted” windows were reportedly involved. Several cars approached these two vehicles at different times and left.

8:40 p.m. — Police retrieved and returned a stolen iPad to its owner. The device was located after a reporting party received a phone notification indicating someone was attempting to use her Apple I.D. near 10th Street, Turners Falls.

Greenfield, May 24

12:53 a.m. — A woman breastfeeding at Applebee’s, 141 Mohawk Trail, was reported for suspicious behavior.

8:31 a.m. — Julie A. Engstrom, 36, of Greenfield was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

5:17 p.m. — Miles Palmer McCloy, 37, of Leyden was arrested at Camp Kee-Wanee, 1 Health Camp Road, and charged with possession with intent to distribute a Class C drug, possession of a Class C drug and possession with intent to distribute a Class B drug.

Greenfield, May 27

12:13 p.m. — Report of breaking and entering into an unlocked Toyota Prius at 178 Conway St. Money was stolen.

12:57 p.m. — Printed items containing swastikas and “profanity laced rants” were glued to the large ground transformer on the Federal Street side of the Cumberland Farms.

2:46 p.m. — A black Labrador mix with the Greenfield tag 2019 0151 was found at Camp Kee-Wanee, 1 Health Camp Road.

Montague, May 27

7:13 a.m. — A car hit two trees in the area of 492 Federal St. and is now in the woods. The occupant is out of the vehicle. No smoke, flames or fluids. Occupant is bleeding from the mouth and nose. They refused medical treatment at 8:04 a.m.
