COLRAIN — With no contests, 7 percent of the town’s registered voters cast a ballot at Monday’s annual election, or 80 of 1172 eligible residents. 

Five candidates won six seats, with one spot remaining open on election day. Three of six open seats were secured by incumbents.

One candidate was written into the only vacant seat on the ballot, on the Mohawk Trail Regional School Committee. Town Clerk Robin Hartnett said this candidate will have until the week’s end to accept the position.

Joesph Kurland won a three-year Selectboard seat with 62 votes.

Nicholas Anzuoni won re-election for a three-year town assessor term with 78 votes.

Betsy Browning won a three-year library trustee seat with 78 votes.

Michael Friedlander won two re-election for two positions: library trustee with 75 votes, and town constable with 70 votes.

Eileen Sauvageau won a three-year town clerk term with 72 votes.
