Chin plans to lead his first worship service with TCC on Sunday, May 19, at 10 a.m. Rev. Chin has served as an intentional interim pastor in several churches, and also has served as a chaplain in a shelter for homeless veterans and part-time hospice chaplain.
Rev. Chin said, in a letter to the congregation, “I believe the church is the best opportunity to make this world a better place. Our communities need our faith institutions. Our effectiveness, though, requires us to make ourselves more relevant to the communities we seek to serve. That’s the task before most of our churches and one that we will do together during this interim time.”
