I write urging everyone in Deerfield to vote for John Waite for the Planning Board on Monday, May 6. John is a talented and knowledgeable planner, as well as an inclusive leader of the Planning Board. His skills are clearly recognized by the board, as they consistently select him to lead the group during these challenging times.
The last year of Dollar General, solar arrays, and marijuana projects have highlighted John’s ability to hold developers accountable to our bylaws in a civil and balanced manner, while doing the same for our sometimes-unruly citizens.
Deerfield relies on its volunteers and elected officials to keep us a vital community. I am grateful to the entire Planning Board for their tireless work on our behalf, and especially grateful to John Waite for his exemplary leadership.
