Greenfield, Oct. 5

11:20 a.m. — A two-car crash around Greenfield Acres on Congress Street left two people with reported injuries, major damages to the Toyota Yaris and Honda Accord, and one driver was given a citation for failure to use care when starting.

4:43 p.m. — Two mountain bikes were reported stolen from a woman’s car port on Elm Street.

5:40 p.m. — A woman overdosed in her Elm Terrace apartment. She was given two doses of Narcan and referred to MedCare.

6:53 p.m. — A man with a bad back requested the assistance of police to retrieve Joe the cockatiel from behind the couch. Joe, the bird, was returned back to his cage.

Greenfield, Oct. 6

6:24 a.m. — A resident at a Leyden Woods apartment on Bayberry Court reported someone broke into her home overnight, stole her TV, broke glass and damaged the rear apartment door by the kitchen.

4:49 p.m. — A gray pit bull went under the fence between Silver Street homes and attacked the neighbor’s small dog, leaving several bite injuries as well as biting the owner of the neighbor’s dog and an elderly male who tried to intervene. The Animal Control Officer captures the pit bull and has attempted to reach the owner.

Greenfield, Oct. 7

9:36 p.m. — A mountain bike leaning on a Union Street telephone pole was taken, the owner reported.

10:35 p.m. — A frustrated 15-year-old threw one Crocs shoe in the air, landing in a pine tree. Police were unable to get the one shoe, but reported the boy still has one Crocs shoe.

Greenfield, Oct. 8

12:29 a.m. — Lucky M. Smalls, 41, of Armory Street was arrested on two warrants around Washington Street.

5:57 p.m. — A Wells Street resident said a tall, skinny man with a gray fleece was going door-to-door saying he was from Eversouce. Others in the area also reported this within the hour.

Greenfield, Oct. 9

1:07 a.m. — Steven CF Shuey, 34, of Conway Street was arrested on a warrant at or around his home.
