NORTHFIELD — Hand-drumming has been with humanity since before recorded history, says hand-drumming instructor Dave Curry on his website. On Tuesday, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 at the Northfield Library, Curry will give a drum lesson for the whole family. No experience is necessary. Drums will be provided.
NORTHFIELD — Doug Creighton, manager of the Sunderland accordion store the Button Box, will demonstrate how accordions work by dismantling them at the Northfield Library on Wednesday from 1 p.m. to 2.

NORTHFIELD — Knitters of all levels are welcome to the Northfield Library’s drop-in hours on Wednesdays from 6 p.m. to 8 to exchange ideas and chat. Drop-in hours are facilitated by Kathy O’Shea, an “expert knitter” as certified by the WEBS yarn store in Northampton.
NORTHFIELD — Sing along with a public screening of “The Wizard of Oz” at the Northfield Library, Friday from 6 p.m. to 7:30. There will be food from Trader Joe’s.
