​​​​​​3:49 p.m. — Report of a woman, removed from Hampton Inn property, is back in front of the building. She told police she is homeless, has all her belongings with her, and has no place to go. Taken to police station to make arrangements. Eventually requested ambulance to Holyoke hospital for unspecified medical issue.

Montague, July 3

11:52 a.m. — Woman on Central Street reported she was “punched in the face” by another vehicle driver in what she considered a road-rage incident. Officer spoke with both drivers.

8:35 p.m. — Car damaged by apparent hit-and-run incident while parked at Unity Park.

​​​​​​12:40 a.m. — Numerous calls that someone on Chapman Street was shooting fireworks. All quiet when police arrived.

4:54 p.m. — Codie Kratt, 24, of Hope Street, served an arrest warrant.

8:59 p.m. Numerous fireworks complaints begin coming in from different sections of town.

11:55 p.m. — Two arrested during traffic stop. Brandan L. Tinsley, homeless, was arrested on a warrant and two counts of possession of a Class B substance. Nanci L. Giard, 51, of Buckland, was charged with two counts of possession of a Class B substance and one count of possession of a Class E substance.

Montague, July 4

5:25 a.m. – Report that a kayak was stolen from the back of a parked truck overnight.

11:41 a.m. — Kristen L. Cuddemi, 51, of Avenue A in Turners Falls was arrested on a probation warrant.

Montague, July 5

11:26 a.m. — A report of a large group of people at Peskeomskut Park on Avenue A have been partying for three days. Police told them to no longer congregate in the area and to pick up their mess.

Greenfield, July 7

1:58 a.m. — Rachel E. Tyler, 30, of Turners Falls was arrested on a warrant.

1:42 p.m. — A 45-year-old Greenfield man was taken into protective custody by police for “punching multiple people” while “very intoxicated” on Chapman Street.

4:13 p.m. — A woman reportedly drove away from the area of Taco Bell with her child strapped to the front of her. She was told to buckle her child into a seat.

7:08 p.m. — A woman hit a big, orange cat around Elm and West streets.

11:57 p.m. — Four males vandalized a solar light in the front yard of a Conway Street residence, the owner said. Police spoke with one of the males, who said him and his younger brother were acting foolish.

12:34 a.m. — Police responded to a report of a fight on Main Street involving three men.

6:27 a.m. — Alex N. Golon, 21, of West Suffield, Conn. was arrested and charged with uttering counterfeit bills. He was seen passing out counterfeit $10 bills at the McDonald’s on the Mohawk Trail.

10:08 a.m. — Raeline J. Phelps, 54, of Camp Avenue was arrested on a warrant.

Greenfield, July 10

6:23 p.m. — Police stopped a vehicle being operated by Robert Rodriguez, 51, of Quincy. Police arrested Rodriguez and charged him with fail to signal, fail to yield at intersection and operating under influence of liquor.

Greenfield, July 11

1:10 p.m. — Baystate Franklin requests welfare check on a truck driver whose tractor-trailer has been parked on Beacon Street for two days. Turns out driver was ill and in Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. Truck to be moved two days later.

1:47 p.m. — Bank Row business reports at least four incidents of finding human waste on its property, as well as on church grounds nearby.

3:03 p.m. — Report that someone has been tampering with machines on the former Rugg Lumber Co. property on Newton Street. Vandalism has been occurring during the nighttime over the last two months.

4:09 p.m. — Arrested Richard S. Bartak, 64, of Wells Street on a warrant and for trespassing on railroad property, near Mill Street.

6:27 p.m. — Report that someone seems to be sleeping overnight in the shed of the Guiding Star Grange, Chapman Street. Overnight checks requested.

9:04 p.m. — Report of iPhones stolen at YMCA. No further information available.

5:48 p.m. — Someone reported to police that dynamite was allegedly blown up in the area of Conway Drive. According to the report, several neighbors reported this and that it was an ongoing issue.
