I urge everyone to take a drive down Norwood Street to see for yourself. The trees are on the northern tree belt between Federal and Davis streets. The utility poles are also on the tree belt. The trees have been pruned around the power lines over the years, some are quite large, and they already have their new growth coming out. These trees should live on.
Would these trees be marked for cutting if there was not a project on the street? No. Is “extending” this project by maybe a week worth just leaving the trees ? There really is no question here, please just dig in the road.
