Broadband discussion today with Lt. Gov. Polito

BUCKLAND — Lt. Gov. Karyn Polito will be at Town Hall, 17 State St., today, to discuss the Last Mile broadband expansion project. She will be there from 11:30 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. The public is invited to attend.

Hawley rabies clinic Saturday

HAWLEY — A rabies vaccination clinic for dogs and cats will be held Saturday, March 24, at the Town Office from 10 a.m. to noon. Other services available are heartworm/tickborne testing, and the sale of products for flee and tick preventatives.

All animals must be either leashed or in carriers, and all town dogs must be licensed by April 1.

Buckland dog licenses due

BUCKLAND — Town Clerk Janice Purington reminds residents that dogs must be licensed by March 31 to avoid a late fine of $25 per dog.

Purington says pet owners can come to the office to renew, or put their information and fee in the mail slot on the front of the Town Hall; include a self-addressed, stamped envelope for return of your tag and license. You may also mail your information and check to: Buckland Town Clerk, P.O. Box 159, Buckland, MA 01338.

Colrain rabies clinic next weekend

COLRAIN — A rabies clinic for dogs and cats will be held outside the Town Office on Saturday, March 31, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. The cost is $15. Any cats coming to the clinic must be brought in carriers.
