Lillia Kachelmeyer’s masterpiece guided Crocker Communications to a 1-0 win over Franklin Orthopedic in a Greenfield Girls’ Softball League Ponytail Division game Friday night at Murphy Park.
Kachelmeyer tossed a complete-game, no-hitter, striking out 17 batters to hold Franklin Orthopedic off the board. Kylee Wrisley scored the lone run for Crocker.
Franklin’s Jillian Apanell also tossed a gem, striking out 13 in a complete-game effort.
• Elsewhere, Emily Young pitched the Montague Diamond Dusters to a 7-3 win over Conte Office Interior.
Young struck out 12 to pick up the win, and added two hits, including a triple. Fellow Diamond Duster Taylor Greene added two hits, including a triple, while Kelsey Richardson (two hits) and Isabel Garcia (hit) also contributed offensively.
Conte’s Morgan Dobias smacked a home run, while Hannah Poirier also had a hit.
• Also, Margarette Howland went 2-for-2 with a double and two RBIs to help Pipione’s Sport Shop to a 8-3 win over Deskavich Plumbing.
Anna Bucala went 2-for-2 in the win, Josalyn Eastman had a hit and two RBIs, and Jordyn Tully singled and drove in a run. Alysia Knapp struck out 10 to earn the win.
Maya Morey had a hit and two RBIs for the Plumbers. Carley Blanchard had a hit, and Lilly Ross drove in a run at the plate and struck out four in the loss.

Jackson Campbell stroked a pair of singles and struck out seven batters on the mound to earn the win as Rotary Club captured a 10-4 victory over Nap’s Auto Sales & Service in a Greenfield Minor League AAA Division baseball game Friday night at Lunt Field.
Heath Gomez paced Nap’s with a pair of hits, while Jonathan Ainsworth, Malik Moore and Joseph Kirley all singled.
• Elsewhere, Braeden Tsipenyuk’s three RBI helped send Tognarelli Heating to an 18-6 victory over Smitty’s Pub.
Tsipenyuk tossed an inning and struck out two batters, while Ethan Quinn added four strikeouts on the mound and registered two hits and two RBI. Gabe Tomasi doubled and struck out two on the mound, while Levi Halla doubled, and Matt Garvin had a hit and two RBI.
Smitty’s was powered offensively by Preston LaFleur and Jack Petrin with two hits each. Deven Dubie and Silas Muzzy also had hits.
• Meanwhile, Camden Guertin doubled to collect his first hit of the season and finished 2-for-3 to help Freedom Credit Union to a 11-4 win over Aubuchon Hardware.
Mya Shattuck also had her first of the year.
Bradley Welcome tripled as part of a 2-for-3 performance in the loss, and Ethan Mauthe went 2-for-3.
Newt Guilbault
Zach Emond hit an inside-the-park home run and drove in a pair to lead Greenfield Savings Bank to a 13-4 win over St. Kazimierz Society in a Newt Guilbault Community League game Friday night in turners Falls.
Cayden Lehtomaki had three hits, including a double, and three RBIs in the win, and J.J. Shepard doubled, singled and drove in three runs. Jake Lavin tripled, Ryan Grace had two hits and an RBI, and Lavin and Gabe Voudren combined to strike out 14.
Levin Prondecki and Cainen Stevens each singled and doubled for St. Kaz, with Stevens driving in a run.
• Elsewhere, Brady Booska’s two doubles helped send Booska’s Flooring to a 5-3 win over Pipione’s Sport Shop on Friday.
Corbin Leh added two hits for Booska’s in the win.
Chris Miner and Derek Wissmann totaled two hits apiece for Pipione’s.
Frontier Cal Ripken
Solid pitching on both sides led to a 4-4 tie between Pekarski’s Sausage and VFW #3295 in a Frontier Cal Ripken 40/60 Division contest played Thursday night at Sunderland Library Field.
Mason Thornton and Quinn Woods combined for 11 strikeouts and just one earned run for Pekarski’s, while VFW’s Coleman Hartner struck out nine over four innings.
Pekarski’s was led offensively by Margaret Edwards, Thornton and Tommy Pekarski, who had three hits apiece. Davey Mazur registered three hits and two RBI for VFW.
Greenfield Co-Rec
Tim Hoar went 5-for-5 on Friday night to lead Montague Elks Lodge to a 20-2 win over the Outlaws in a Greenfield Co-Rec Adult Softball League game at Greenfield Middle School.
Andrew Doty went 4-for-4 with two RBIs in the win, and Michelle Dawicki had a pair of hits.
Ben Banash finished 4-for-4 in the loss, and Michael Scofield went 3-for-3.
• In other action, Jenessa Murphy had three hits and an RBI to help Beck’s Automotive to a 9-6 win over Hot L Warren at Green River Field in Greenfield.
Kat Chabot had three hits for Beck’s, and Jeff Guy doubled and tripled.
Teri Westbrook had three hits in the loss, and Tom Herzig had two hits including a double.
CC of G Hickory Open
Gary Pomichter’s 78 took low gross honors at Friday’s Alexander Findlay Hickory Open at the Country Club of Greenfield.
Mike Tracy was the net champion thanks to a 69, while Pomichter was first in stableford gross (33). Dave Dickman took second (28) and Bill Wardwell was third (26) after a match of cards.
Tracy was first in stableford net with a plus-6, while Allen Johnson was second (plus-5) and Bill Hazlett was third (0).
Alistair McDougal was the inaugural gross champion (86), while Chet Conant was crowned inaugural net champion (72).
Deerfield lax wins
Thanks to goals from 11 different players, the Deerfield Academy girls’ lacrosse team breezed to an 18-6 win over Pomfret School on Friday.
