ORANGE — Athol Credit Union has expanded its hours at its Orange branch at 85 East Main St. to six days a week. The branch lobby is open Monday through Friday from noon to 4 p.m.; Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.
The branch has full teller services for member deposits, withdrawals and check cashing.
Members service specialists are on hand for members or new members looking to open new accounts.
The credit union had already installed a 24-hour ATM as part of its multi-phase project to bring affordable financial products and services to Orange.
“We are pleased with the investment that the businesses and residents of Orange have made with ACU by banking locally, which has led to a quicker development of the full service branch,” said Kevin Miller, president and chief executive officer of Athol Credit Union.
The state-of-the-art ATM is capable of accepting real-time cash and check deposits for both individuals and businesses, providing members a way of making transactions on their accounts without having to leave the downtown Orange area. There is no fee for ACU members to use the ATM, and those that have debit/ATM cards linked to the SUM network will also not be charged.
