ORANGE — The Pioneer Valley Brass will present a free public concert of traditional and modern music arranged for brass on Sunday, March 19, at 4 p.m. at the Community Church of North Orange and Tully.
The program is the 775th in a series of Memorial Vespers programs sponsored by the First Universalist Parish of North Dana in an effort to keep alive the memory of that parish, which had to leave North Dana for the creation of the Quabbin Reservoir in the 1930s. A trust fund set up in the 1920s provides for the music, so the programs are free to the public.
