SOUTH DEERFIELD — A benefit held at The Arts Bank of South Deerfield recently was a success.

In total, the benefit raised $5,369 in two hours during the last Saturday of February, according to a press release Tuesday. The event was put on to raise money for charitable organizations and also to clear out the building, which is in the process of being sold.

The seven organizations benefiting from the donations, which will be delivered Wednesday, are the Cancer Connection, CISA, the Food Bank of Western Mass., Franklin Area Survival Center, the Literacy Project, the Museum of Our Industrial Heritage, and Stone Soup Cafe.
