Kellan Grady poured in a team-high 24 points and added 6 assists and 4 rebounds to help Northfield Mount Hermon School to a 101-69 win over St. Thomas More School during a New England Prep School Athletic Conference boys’ basketball game Saturday in Gill.

NMH (18-5) led St. Thomas (17-7), 50-26, at halftime and got contributions up and down the lineup throughout the game with 13 players scoring.

Matt DeWolf added 13 points and Calvin Whipple went 3-for-6 from beyond the arc to finish with 11 points and 4 rebounds.

Youth basketball

Pioneer 7/8 cruises

Jayden Fox scored 11 points Saturday to lead Pioneer past Gateway, 56-13, in a grades 7 & 8 Suburban League boys’ basketball game in Huntington.

Liam Bradley-Curtis added 10 points in the win. Bob Provost scored 9 points and led the team in rebounding, Sean Allen netted 9 points and Jalen McGraw dumped in 7.

Youth hockey

Mites win pair

Chase Zraunig scored 5 goals and added 4 assists to lead Franklin County Hockey Association to a 18-5 win over Brattleboro White in a Greater Springfield League Mite Division hockey game on Sunday.

Luca Siano scored 6 goals and added 2 assists, and Shawn Baumann chipped in two goals and two assists. Hayden Ardrey tallied 2 goals and an assist, Jack Laurie scored twice, and Cordelia Rhodes had a goal and an assist. Jay Perry made 24 saves to earn the victory in net.

• On Saturday, Zraunig registered a hat trick and added 3 assists and FCHA edged Holy Name, 9-7.

Stefan Flaska scored twice for the winners, and Laurie had a goal and 2 helpers. Carter Schloat had a goal and an assist, Siano and Rhodes had a goal apiece, and Baumann had a helper. Perry finished with 15 saves.

Dillon Vipers split

Matt Provencal, Eathon Bryant and Kameron Tompkins all scored Sunday but the FCHA Dillon Chevrolet Vipers suffered a 4-3 loss to Westfield in a GSL Peewee North Division game at Collins-Moylan Arena in Greenfield.

Shane Prusak, Jayson Smith, Brodie Gagne and Dylan Archer each had an assist in the loss. Trevor Parkinson made 27 saves in net and Archer, Jayson Smith, Braeden Killeen, Lila Roche and MJ Paulin all played well defensively.

• On Saturday, Matt Lavoine recorded a hat trick in the third period and the Vipers got past Holy Name Green, 6-4, at the Olympia in West Springfield.

Prusak, Gagne and Tompkins each added a goal in the win. Provencal and Prusak each had 2 assists, and Tompkins and Gagne had a helper apiece. Parkinsin finished with 15 saves.

Westfield falls

Framingham State University junior Raegan Mulherin hit a 3-pointer with under a minute to play to break a 68-68 tie and send the Rams on to a 75-71 win over Westfield State University in a Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference women’s basketball game Saturday in Framingham.

Westfield State senior guard Jill Valley led the Owls with 20 points, 8 steals and 5 assists in the loss. The Mahar Regional School graduate has helped the Owls to a 14-8 record this season, including an 8-1 mark in conference, which has them in a first-place tie with Framingham.

Dodgeball

FC Tech tourney

The eighth-annual Franklin County Technical School Dodgeball Tournament will be held March 3 beginning at 6 p.m.

Teams of five will compete in double-elimination matches to be held at the school. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top two teams.

Teams must register by March 1 to be eligible to play. There is a $30 registration fee per team, which is due at the time of registration.

The public is invited to attend the event, and general admission is just $2. All proceeds from the tournament will benefit the FCTS Athletic Programs.

This will be the final year of the tournament run by Franklin Tech.
