Charges of unarmed robbery, disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, assault and battery on a police officer, and assault and battery, were not prosecuted, as according to a statement made by a counsel from the district attorney’s office, the defendant has been indicted and arraigned in superior court. Christopher M. Hughes, 35, of Park Street, Turners Falls. Found responsible for no inspection sticker, in Montague by state police, fined $50. Charges of having operated a motor vehicle after the license to operate a motor vehicle had been revoked by reason of his or her having been found to be an habitual traffic offender, and operating a motor vehicle with license suspended, both dismissed on request of the Commonwealth.
William J. Murray, 19, of Springfield. Found responsible for speeding, in Erving, fined $50, plus $5 surfine, and head injury assessment of $50, all forthwith. Charge of being a person under 21 in possession of liquor, to be dismissed on payment of $25 fine, also forthwith. Found not responsible for missing a registration sticker.
