Book sale takes place on the first Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. at the Carnegie Library in Turners Falls. Thousands of books, DVDs, audio books and CDS are all $1 or less. Benefits the Friends of the Montague Public Libraries.

Pirate party at the Carnegie Library will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Children of all ages are invited to play games, make booty (crafts), and eat some grub! Costumes are optional.

Craft time at the Carnegie Library is on Tuesdays from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Crafts for children of all ages with Angela.

Story time: Wednesday mornings weekly at 10:15 a.m. at the Carnegie Library in Turners Falls. Thematic stories, projects and snacks for young children and their caregivers with Karen Wartel.

Music and Movement: This fun series for young children with Tom Carroll and Laurie Davidson is held on Thursdays at 10 a.m. at the Carnegie Library in Turners Falls through April.

Home school science: Hands on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) activities for homeschoolers of all ages, with Angela or special guest will resume on Jan. 18.
