PaintBox Theatre favorite Troy Mercier will lead the reindeer in the company’s “The Santa Show: Reindeer to the Rescue,” featuring Santa, Mrs. Claus, elves, Roscoe the dog and, of course, Santa’s reindeer.
The show will take the audience back to Santa’s first year on the job. The toys are made — with help from the audience — but Santa needs to figure out how to get around the world in one night.
Eight very strange reindeer, who look suspiciously like people wearing long brown underwear, might be able to help.
They start as an unruly herd, but they might just end up saving Christmas. There will be plenty of audience participation, so be warned!
Northampton High School auditorium, 380 Elm St. in Northampton, Friday at 7 p.m.; Saturday at 1 and 4 p.m.; and Sunday at 1 and 4 p.m. Tickets $10, with a group discount of $7 for groups of 14 or more.
