As a parent and grandparent I was saddened to see your choice of words in the caption above the photo of the athletes on the cover of today’s paper (Nov. 21). These kids may have lost their respective games but in no way did they “fall from grace.” They played their hearts out and their efforts are appreciated by their communities.
