1:05 p.m. — Threat being made on Main Street where two people threatened to knock the caller out, and they then got back into a black Honda, and drove away, but unknown names and unknown plate number, officers know those involved, and the reporting person was advised to attempt to obtain a harassment protective order.
1:24 p.m. — Larceny reported at Burning Heart Studio on Main Street where the caller reports her wallet stolen, or is missing from this location, officer spoke with her, and the wallet may be at her studio or in her vehicle.
2:56 p.m. — Hazmat incident reported at the Lipton store and gas station on the Mohawk Trail where the caller says a person (plate numbers given to police) appeared to have dumped a quantity of oil in their parking lot and then drove off; officer and Fire Department sent; unable to locate the vehicle or owner and will follow up; Fire Department cleaned up the spill.
3:16 p.m. — Report of a black 2010 Nissan Sentra repossessed from the Home Depot parking area.
6:49 p.m. — Threat reported at the Winslow Building on Wells Street where the reporting person would like it documented that the other involved person threatened to punch him in the face; he will call back later to speak with an officer.
10:43 a.m. — Caller reports a fight out in front of the temporary county courthouse on Munson Street; officers sent, and found one known female who followed a vehicle to the courthouse, and once at the court she got out of her vehicle, and approached another known female, and assaulted her in front of the courthouse; she is now being summoned to court for assault and battery.
11:33 a.m. — Officers on Deerfield Street to serve a warrant; arrested was Raymond Joseph Lopez, 21, of Deerfield Street, Greenfield on the warrant, and was taken directly to court.
1:45 p.m. — Traffic hazard reported on Chestnut Lane where the caller said a tent has been blowing around the neighborhood for the past few days; the reporting person expressed concern that the tent might blow into the road and create a hazard; he spoke with several neighbors and no one claimed ownership of the tent; officer went and spoke with someone in the area who advised the tent belongs to some youths in the area; the tent was secured with a cinder block.
1:53 p.m. — Walk-in reports a fraud and identify theft, two credit cards were opened in his name that, he states, he didn’t apply for; the back of both cards were signed, but the reporting person advised he didn’t sign them; officer to investigate
6:25 p.m. — Walk in reports medication was stolen on Friday night from his bedroom while having some people over for a small party; report taken.
6:52 p.m. — Caller from Turners Falls Road reports he struck a deer on this road; the car can be driven, but the deer appears gone.
12:08 p.m. — A 911 caller reporting she was just in an accident with airbag deployment at Seventh and L Street; Fire Department and police were sent to the scene, tow truck requested for one of the vehicles and another tow company called for the other vehicle; no injuries reported on the log.
1:19 p.m. — Walk-in reporting on fraudulent purchases on his credit card; he said his credit card company has reimbursed him already, and just wanted to let us known; there was a fake phone number attached to the purchase, and it was given to police.
3:03 p.m. — Walk-in reports her purse was stolen while at the laundry on Avenue A; report taken and following up on a tip that came from an anonymous female caller who said her youngster, who witnessed the crime, said the male was all dressed in black and she believes that it is a known male who just got out of jail recently (name given to police).
4:27 p.m. — Reporting person states that the male (name attached) admitted he stole a purse from an elderly woman in front of the laundry; the reporting person then called back later to say the male was at the detox facility in Greenfield attempting to get a bed; Greenfield was unable to locate the man and both forces are still looking for him; Montague officer to meet with an employee of the laundry to view the tapes.
5:32 p.m. — Walk-in reporting an accident at the Turnpike Road intersection, and both people are those involved in the accident, but no injuries or hazards. Tow truck started for one.
8:45 p.m. — Reporting person says there is a minor fender bender in the area of Third Street and Avenue A; but no injuries and no hazards; officers responding; one of the operators then came by the station to report his vehicle was pulling to the right; he was still willing to work it out with the operator of the other vehicle but wanted it noted that his car was pulling to the right.
10:07 p.m. — Caller is from Skyline Recovery, and he just repossessed a car from a Millers Falls Road location, and now says the owners of the vehicle are following him, the driver of the truck is coming to the station, and officers met him outside; a fax was received in accordance with repro policy.
1:40 a.m. — Mass State Police requesting a K-9 unit to assist with a motor vehicle stop on Interstate 91 near the Vermont border; four occupants inside and two are known users of 94C in northern Vermont; the officer was advised and would be en route.
2:32 p.m. — Larceny reported from Howe Street where the caller says he had an Amazon package stolen from his front door back on Nov. 16; he has contacted Amazon and they credited his account; he wanted to report it in case other people have had packages stolen; he was advised, not yet.
3:47 p.m. — Officer stopping a vehicle on East River Street for an expired inspection sticker; the operator was driving his mother’s car; and he was told to tell mom to get an inspection sticker.
3:58 p.m. — Caller from East Main Street states she was just assaulted and struck in the head by a female, who is still upstairs; on arrival of officers the woman said the caller assaulted her, and she stated that she punched and struck the other woman one time to defend herself; she didn’t want to pursue criminal charges, and refused medical treatment.
4:26 p.m. — Officer on East River Street to serve a warrant; arrested was Matthew Paul Waite, 33, of East River Street, Orange, on the default warrant.
7:01 p.m. — Control took a report of an unwanted female on Perry Road; officer responded and spoke with all involved and the unwanted female left for the evening to a friend’s house in Athol; peace was restored.
2 a.m. — Report of an unwanted person on East Main Street; but the female was gone on arrival of an officer, the calling person was advised of options, and the officer then located the female walking in Orange Center, and informed her she was not welcome to return to the residence this evening.
