10:25 a.m. — A caller at Green Fields Market, located at 144 Main St., reported an unwanted person. Police arrested Guy Joseph Oullette, 58, of Greenfield for shoplifting by asportation.
3:29 p.m. — A caller reported an overdose at a home on Congress Street. The fire department, police department and an ambulance were dispatched and the patient was taken to the hospital.
6:47 p.m. — A caller reported she lost her wallet at the Stop and Shop gas station, located at 486 Bernardston Road.
7:19 p.m. — An accident without injuries occurred at the intersection of Route 2 and French King Highway between a gray 2016 Dodge Ram and a white 2005 Honda Accord, which was towed. The driver of the Dodge Ram was issued a citation.
10:29 a.m. — A caller reported she lost her car key and house key on Wells Street. The keys were on a purple ring with Big Y and CVS cards attached.
11:51 a.m. — Larceny reported on Wells Street where the caller says a jar of quarters in the secure hallway was taken at some point when the door was left unsecured; officer called back but got no answer and had to leave a message.
12:30 p.m. — Request that police check the welfare of a person at Big Y foods access on the Mohawk Trail location, and the caller advised the homeless female on the corner is causing a traffic hazard. Situation investigated.
1:06 p.m. — Caller from Ashfield at the Neighbors Gas Station and convenience store, where the reporting person was calling about a scam through someone using the Eversource name, and the caller states a male caller advised her that Eversource was going to be there in 30 minutes to turn off the power, unless she went to the Rite Aid in Greenfield and did an Express money transfer; she was advised this would be on record.
4:43 p.m. — Caller from Ninety Nine Restaurant on Colrain Road states there is a car parked in the lot at this location for about three days, and he stated that it is a blue Pontiac Vibe, and with Vermont plates (given to police); the vehicle isn’t stolen or wanted at this time; and advised the reporting person that it was on private property, so nothing else could be done at this time.
4:48 p.m. — Caller from Greenfield Country Estates on Adams Road where the caller reports his neighbor has taken his cat, and is refusing to return it to the caller; officer sent; nothing needed, situation was resolved.
5:12 p.m. — Officer reporting vehicle versus pedestrian accident; also Medcare is calling this in as their crew was driving by, and witnessed what occurred; one person taken to the hospital; two vehicles involved; situation investigated.
2:26 a.m. — Suspicious activity reported at Poet’s Seat Tower, where a red Jetta was parked at the entry way on the tower road; officer located the registered owner in the tower, observing the super moon; he was advised of trespassing hours and moved along.
4:44 a.m. — Caller from Wells and Main streets states there is a pool of blood, about five feet before the stop sign to Main, on the sidewalk, and a trail of blood continues onto Main Street; the reporting person states the pool of blood seems fresh, still wet, but the trail seems dry, and he doesn’t see anyone around; the reporting person states he was out walking to Cumberland Farms for a cup of coffee and is currently in front of the Greenfield Police Station downtown office waiting for officers to arrive; a tube of, “Vampire Blood,” was found in the trash there and an officer emptied the bottle of fake blood into a trash can next to the location of the trail.
10:46 a.m. — Walk-in reported he struck a deer on 11/9/16 on the Route 2 bypass at the Interstate 91; he was advised to fill out an uninvestigated accident report, and he was provided a copy.
12:11 p.m. — Caller from Arch Street reports a debit card stolen with money withdrawn; officer to investigate, and spoke with the caller who reported she entered into an agreement with the named female to have her pay back money she took out of the reporting person’s checking account, the other female defaulted on that agreement, the caller was advised of her options.
1:14 p.m. — Walk-in reporting her cell phone stolen on Friday; the Department of Children and Families employee reports her department issued cell phone is missing or stolen and the report was issued.
3:01 p.m. — A report notice was received that a white 2015 Dodge Dart was repossessed by a Skyline Recovery unit.
4:42 p.m. — Reporting person stated he found several items of trash around the Green River Cemetery off Wisdom Way; but nothing identifiable found in the trash; the reporting person says there has been an increase of activity since the time change.
8:13 p.m. — Report of a despondent person at the Franklin Recovery Center/Behavioral Heath, and says a male is making suicidal statements, but no means given; Medcare contact but they requested the fire department be sent as primary as their rig has a 10 to 15 minutes turn around.
