NEW BEDFORD — Two people charged in connection with the stabbing death of a 15-year-old Massachusetts boy have been held without bail.

Prosecutors say 21-year-old Luis Rafael Class pleaded not guilty to accessory to murder after the fact, and assault and battery, at his arraignment Thursday. A 16-year-old boy charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon was also held without bail.

Class’ lawyer did not argue for bail and said details of the case are still emerging.

New Bedford police responded to the scene at about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday where they found three victims.

The slain teen was identified as Mateo Morales, of New Bedford.

In addition to Morales, a 22-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy were taken to the hospital with stab wounds. They are expected to recover.
