Jade Tyler struck out 11 in five innings and helped Turners Falls shut out Chicopee, 14-0, in a five-inning Suburban Softball League 14-and-under game Friday night in Chicopee.
Haleigh Greene doubled and drove in three runs for Turners Falls, and Tyler finished 2-for-3 with three RBIs. Lindsay Whiteman went 2-for-3 with two RBIs, and Mercedes Morales singled and doubled. Hailey Bogusz had one hit and two RBIs, and Emily Young singled and drove in a run.
Turners Falls travels to Frontier Tuesday night at 6.
Greenfield 12s win
Kameryn Dearborn struck out 10 on Friday night as Greenfield defeated Agawam B, 13-1, in a 12-and-under Suburban Softball League game at Veterans Memorial Field in Greenfield.
Dearborn helped her own cause with two hits in the win. Kelsey Richardson tripled and homered in the win, Gianna Conte tripled, and Alexis Farrick doubled. Rachel Dodge added two hits, and Genesis Jackson and Olivia Stafford each had one hit.
Greenfield hosts Frontier Monday night at 7.
Turners Falls 12s advance
David Carey and Dominic Badorini combined to strike out 14 in a no-hitter and Turners Falls advanced to the semifinals of the Mini Fenway 12-and-under Baseball Tournament with a 11-3 win over the Western Mass. Warriors Friday night in Belchertown.
Gavin Rubio and Cayden Lehtomaki each homered for Turners Falls and both players also had two singles and drove in two runs. Jake Dodge had three hits and two RBIs, while Dalton Henderson and Carey each doubled and drove in two runs. James Robison doubled, and Badorini, Levin Prondecki, Noah Ausikaitis and Quinn McDonald each singled.
Turners Falls advances to the semifinals Sunday morning at 11 against an opponent to be determined.
Greenfield 10s beat E’hamp
Ryan Pulizari singled, tripled and drove in two runs and also earned the save to lead Greenfield to a 9-7 win over Easthampton during the Easthampton 10-and-under Tournament Friday in Easthampton.
Nico Fasulo had two hits and two RBIs in the win, and George Mercorelli singled, plated a pair of runs and also struck out seven to earn the win.
• On Thursday, Pulizari tripled and drove in a pair of runs as Greenfield played the Venom to a 9-9 tie.
Fasulo, Mercorelli, Jake Petrin, Dylan Archer and Kendra Campbell each had two hits for Greenfield.
CCG wins Mayor’s Cup
Greenfield finished with 33 points to beat five other cities in the 2016 Mayor’s Cup at the Country Club of Greenfield on Friday.
Springfield finished second with 29 points, followed by West Springfield (25), Westfield (24), Agawam (7) and Chicopee (5).
The Best Ball Team of Mike Johnson, Brodie Conant, Jason Kelton and Dave Donoghue shot a 10-under, 62 to win, while the Scramble Team of mayor William Martin, Scott Cote, Rob Haigh and Jamie Crocker fired a 14-under, 58 to win.
EDGE tournament
The 10th Annual Edge Basketball Golf Tournament will be held Sept. 17 at Northfield Golf Course.
Entry fee for the 9 a.m. shotgun start event is $260 per team and includes 18 holes of golf with a cart, food on the course throughout the day, prizes and a post-tournament meal and prizes.

Tucker Llewelyn scored 20 points on Thursday and Jake Willis added 13 as Whitney Fence defeated Lundgren Honda, 66-31, in a DRIVE Hoops Boys’ Varsity Basketball League playoff game at Pioneer Valley Regional School in Northfield.
Colin Gould scored 17 points in the loss.

Northfield Summer Series
Joe Sumner edged Sebastian Shaw to win the Northfield Summer Series Road Race on Thursday.
Sumner completed the 3.3-mile course in 21 minutes, 37 seconds, beating Shaw, who came in second at 22:05. Isaac Bingham took third in 22:19, Tyssen LaBombard took fourth in 22:45, and Marcy Cabanas was fifth overall in 22:57. Cabanas was the top female finisher, and was followed by Robin McKeon (25:50), Sarah O’Sullivan (27:34), Amy O’Sullivan (27:34) and Kristi Nicholson (28:42).
The race takes place every Thursday at 6:30 and begins and end at 105 Main Street in Northfield. Cost is $4 per runner, with a $10 maximum per family. High school cross country team members run for free.
